Star Power 2020, one of the premiere high school show choir events in the Midwest, will be held at Waconia High School on Saturday, Feb. 13. Last year’s annual competition featured performances by more than 20 choirs hailing from Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Nebraska.

The Competition Classes

Open Class (Varsity level groups with a 9-12 school population over 600 students)
Class A (Varsity level groups with a 9-12 school population under 600 students)
Prep Class is for prep or JV groups (Prep groups may be mixed or unisex)
*Any group may choose to compete in the Open Class.
New for 2021 – Middle school competition on Friday Night. (Pending administrative and facilities approval)

We are very proud of our very diverse judges that have a wide range of knowledge and expertise from throughout the entertainment, education and show choir industries.

Admission

Adult:
$10 for the Saturday preliminary performance
$9 for the Saturday evening finals performance
$17 for both Saturday daytime and evening performances.

Seniors / Students:
$7 for the Saturday preliminary performance
$6 for the Saturday evening finals performance
$12 for both Saturday daytime and evening performances.
(Children under 5 will be admitted free)

*There is a $1.00 service fee for all credit card purchases.
