Waconia Choirs is a group of curriculum and extra-curricular choirs that include Waconia High School's Power Company of Show Choirs, Power Company, The Current, Illuminations, Shockwave and The Pulse. It also includes The Waconia High School Chamber Choir, and the spectacular Show Choir event, Star Power.

(Please put these dates on your family calendar! It is very important NOT to miss dance camps as Kevin is here a very limited time and it affects the entire team!)

Power Company Camp Dance/Vocal camps 

October 24-26   Power Company Camp @ Camp Courage

November 17-19 Power Company dance camp w/Kevin Chase (3-10 Th,Fri, 9am-9pm Saturday)

December 15-17th Power Company cleaning camp w/Kevin Chase (3-10pm Th, Fri, 9am-9pm Saturday)

December 29-30 Power Company camp w/Special Guest (10am-5pm)

The Current Dance & Vocal Camps

October 24-26 The Current dance camp w/Kevin Chase (3-9:30pm M, Tu, 3-5:30 Wed )

November 15-16  The Current dance camp w/Kevin Chase (3-9:30pm M, Tu, 3-5:30 Wed )

December 14-15th The Current dance camp w/Kevin Chase (3-9:30pm M, Tu, 3-5:30 Wed )

Competition Dates (Tentative) 

Competitions are all-day commitments; departure times are estimates.

January 7th (Poco Only) – Mid-Iowa Show Choir Championships  Centennial HS, Ankeny, IA  (no overnight)

January 13th – 14th (Current & Poco)  Jefferson HS Cavalier Classic, Sioux Falls, SD (no overnight)

January 20th – 21st (Current & Poco) Rock the Rock,  Milton, WI (Overnight, depart after 1st lunch Friday)

January 28th (Current & Poco, Shockwave & The Pulse) Bloomington Gold, Bloomington, MN (depart Sat 6 am)

February 4th (Current & Poco) Memorial HS, Eau Claire, WI (depart Sat 6 am)

February 10-11th (Current & Poco) Benton HS, VanHorne, IA (depart after 1st lunch Friday)

February 18th – STAR POWER!

February 27- March 2nd – Spectacular tech week

March 3rd & March 4th – Show Choir Spectacular
