Waconia Choirs is a group of curriculum and extra-curricular choirs that include Waconia High School's Power Company of Show Choirs, Power Company, The Current, Illuminations, Shockwave and The Pulse. It also includes The Waconia High School Chamber Choir, and the spectacular Show Choir event, Star Power.

About This Group
The Current, Waconia High School’s high voltage show choir, under the direction of Izzy La Marca, began in 2006. Past years highlights include capturing several Championship titles, and their band WATT, receiving “Best Band Awards.” The Current is choreographed by Kevin Chase. The Current takes pride in strengthening their skills and continuing to work hard on all aspects of performing throughout the season. The Current looks forward to continuing a great season and thanks to everyone for their continued love and support.
