Waconia Choirs is a group of curriculum and extra-curricular choirs that include Waconia High School's Power Company of Show Choirs, Power Company, The Current, Illuminations, Shockwave and The Pulse. It also includes The Waconia High School Chamber Choir, and the spectacular Show Choir event, Star Power.

2025 Star Power Information

Welcome to Star Power 2025!

FEBRUARY 15th, 2025

Waconia High School

1650 Community Drive Waconia, MN

Star Power 2025, one of the premiere high school show choir events in the Midwest, will be held at Waconia High School on Saturday, Feb. 15th. Last year’s annual competition featured performances by more than 20 choirs hailing from Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Nebraska.

The Competition Classes

Open Class (Varsity level groups with a 9-12 school population over 600 students)
Class A (Varsity level groups with a 9-12 school population under 600 students)
Prep Class is for prep or JV groups (Prep groups may be mixed or unisex) *Any group may choose to compete in the Open Class.

Waconia’s New – State of the Art – 1000+ Seat Auditorium.
